Saifullah Khalid, one of India’s most wanted terrorists and accused in three major attacks, was reportedly shot dead by unknown assailants in Pakistan. Sources say he was killed in a gun attack in Pakistan. Saifullah was a key figure in terror operations from Pakistan and PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). Indian agencies had been targeting such operatives under Operation Sindhura. Saifullah was part of terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba, and originally from Nepal. He was allegedly involved in planning anti-India activities. His death reveals how terrorist safe havens in Pakistan are becoming vulnerable.
