India Women look for a clean sweep against West Indies Women

India Women have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match ODI series against West Indies Women. While the third and the final ODI between the two teams to be played on Friday in Vadodara may just be of academic importance, both teams will have their task cut out. The hosts would eye a clean sweep, whereas the tourists would look to salvage pride.

Harleen Deol: India’s number three scored her maiden ODI century in the second ODI against West Indies. The 26-year-old right-hander muscled 115 runs from 103 balls, peppering the boundary rope 16 times.

Priya Mishra: The wily leg spinner of India was the pick of the bowlers in the second ODI against West Indies. She scalped three wickets in 9.2 overs, conceding 49 runs.

Hayley Matthews: The captain of West Indies smashed her seventh ODI century in the second ODI against India. The right-handed opening batter led the run chase from the front with a 109-ball 106, that included 13 fours. It was her first century against India. Besides, she bowled her full quota of 10 overs giving away 60 runs.

Karishma Ramharack: The crafty off spinner of West Indies was the most economical bowler for her side in the second ODI against India. In that high scoring contest, she completed her spell at an economy of just 4.6 runs per over.
