India Women eager to repeat the heroics of 2022 ODI series against England

The Rose Bowl in Southampton will host the day-night encounter.

Sophie Ecclestone: This left-arm spinner of England is the world number one bowler in women’s ODIs. Standing at almost 6 feet, this tall bowler makes terrific use of her height and can be equally effective with the old ball and the new ball.
Harmanpreet Kaur: The captain of India may not have had the best of T20I series against England, but she would back herself to deliver her best for the team and replicate what she did in 2022. In that series, this right-handed batter muscled 221 runs in three ODIs, including the best of 143 not out. She was the leading run scorer in the ODI series.
Smriti Mandhana: The India vice-captain has been in prolific form on this England tour. She signed off the five-match T20I series with 221 runs and was the top run getter. This left-handed opening batter would be expected to pick up in the ODIs from where she left in the T20Is, this time with a new opening partner in Pratika Rawal.
