‘Bhargavastra’ shows success in Odisha trials with precise targeting.
After increased drone threats from Pakistan, India has developed an indigenous counter-drone system named ‘Bhargavastra’. It was successfully tested at Odisha’s Chandipur. The system can detect and destroy enemy drones using mini rockets. During the trials, two drones were precisely hit. Developed by Solar Industries and its subsidiary SDAL, this system will boost India’s border security. It uses advanced sensors and tracking technology to ensure accurate targeting. This achievement marks a big step toward self-reliance in defense technology.
