Indian women’s team looks to end the T20 series on a high after historic win at Lord’s.
India made history by defeating England in the second T20 match at Lord’s, leveling the three-match series 1-1. With this win, India became the first Asian women’s team to win a T20 match at Lord’s. Despite losing the first match, India bounced back strongly. The final T20 will be played at Hove on July 12. Both teams are keen to win the series. Openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana are key players for India. Bowlers Renuka Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, and spinners Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav have shown good form. For England, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Alice Capsey are top performers. So far, England leads the overall T20 record against India with 19 wins out of 32 matches.
