Players to watch out for

Former Mumbai Indians’ player Quinton de Kock, who opens the batting for South Africa will look to make the most of the opportunity playing in front of his former home ground in the IPL. Having missed out on scoring big in his previous match played here, the wicket-keeper-batter would like to get back among the runs. He has scored 233 runs in four matches at an average of 58 and strike rate of 109. With the ball, it will be Kagiso Rabada, who would be expected to provide breakthroughs. The right-arm medium fast bowler has claimed eight wickets in four matches.

The good news for Bangladesh is that their captain Shakib Al Hasan will be back. His experience with bat and ball will be handy for his team when they take on the spirited South Africans. He has scored a best of 40 and taken five wickets in his three matches. Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim will take up the onus of Bangladesh’s batting. He is the most prolific batter for his team with 157 runs in four matches at an average of 52 and strike rate of 84.
