Concessions to builders for revival

After the state government gave relief in stamp duty, now Thane Municipal Corporation has tried to alleviate the financial crisis of builders by giving concessions of paying fees in installments.

As per the demand made by Thane MCHI on the background of Corona, the Municipal Corporation has decided to give additional concession to pay various fees in installments. Accordingly, the proposal in this regard has been tabled for approval in the General Assembly on September 18. Similar concessions will also be given to ongoing constructions as well.

MCHI also demanded to waive off Metro development cess till 2021. This will also be tabled for approval in the coming general body meeting.
