That dream is about to become a reality courtesy Thane’s newest and first ever poolside Love Leaf Homestyle Café & Bakery!
Situated in the heart of Thane Club, this place is all set to take your breath away from the first step in, be it their decor or the fare! This expansive 2000 sq. ft café is the brainchild of Niketa Sharma of Thane Club who has partnered up with restaurateurs from Mumbai Pawan Shahri & Dhaval Udeshi of the same team that has brought to you some of Mumbai’s favorites — Butterfly High (BKC) and London Taxi (Lower Parel,Kamala Mills), The Bigg Small Cafe + Bar (Saki Naka) & Cloud Kitchen Brands Shuk & South Street ! The Open to all poolside café boasts of unhindered views of the Olympic sized pool’s serene blue waters, and is perfect for that early morning or late evening soirée with your loved ones.
The cozy open air seating features bamboo and wooden placements, vibrant colorful accents, and is quite literally drenched with fragrant flowers and greenery everywhere. The definite standout has to be its lush flower canopy atop the entire café that makes it a picture perfect place for that next Instagram shot in the hall of fame! There’s a separate kids play area too, making sure that no matter what age you are, you will enjoy this place!
Commenting on the launch, owner Niketa Sharma said, “We’ve always wanted to make sure that the people of Thane don’t feel like they’re missing out and it’s been a dream to open up a beautiful place to hang out here. Love Leaf café is aimed to give you a respite from all the toils and burdens of the world, a place where you can come and relax. Our staff is taking all safety measures and hygiene precautions, and we hope that the folks around here can partake in this joyful experience as much as we do.”
The café serves up modern yet surprisingly comfortable delicacies across cuisines. Some must haves that will definitely tickle your taste buds include their heavenly Love Leaf Pink Burgers (Yes, you read that right, the burgers are PINK!), Mushroom or Chopper Chicken Bruschetta and Mad Fries. You can also pick from their All day breakfast options (Waffles, pancakes, and many more) or the ever-yummy Love leaf Chaat Station!
For drinks, there is Surfing Banana Smoothie because who doesn’t love a classic, the Orange Basil Spinach Smoothie for the health conscious, the Macchiato or the Butterscotch and Caramel Thick Shake. End this with Popsicles or the Chili Guava Ice cream to beat the heat and you’re good to go! The possibilities are endless!
