Protests in Mumbai Against Padalkar’s Remarks

Mumbai: A fight broke out between supporters of NCP (Sharad Pawar group) MLA Jitendra Awhad and BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar inside the Vidhan Bhavan premises.

The clash took place in the corridor of the building. Awhad’s supporters reportedly pushed and manhandled BJP leader Tanaji Deshmukh. The entire incident was caught on video and quickly spread on social media.

Earlier, Jitendra Awhad and Gopichand Padalkar had a heated argument over a recent issue. That same argument continued into the Assembly premises, leading to the physical confrontation.

Outside Vidhan Bhavan, protests were held in Mumbai by NCP workers against Padalkar’s statements. Demonstrators raised slogans and carried placards demanding action.

The situation highlights rising political tension between the two parties.
