Brave Girl Escapes Kidnapping Attempt from Auto Driver Used Sharp Object to Defend Herself.

A shocking kidnapping attempt of a schoolgirl by an auto-rickshaw driver and his accomplice in Mumbra was foiled due to the girl’s courage. She used a sharp object from her school bag to attack the driver and managed to jump out of the moving rickshaw, saving herself. The 16-year-old girl, a school student from Mumbra, lives with her family in Shantinagar. On July 9, she left home around noon to go to school. She boarded a rickshaw which already had a woman sitting inside. A short distance later, the woman got off, and the girl was left alone with the driver. She asked the driver to stop near her school, but he refused and instead started driving in another direction. Realizing the danger, she acted quickly, injured the driver, and escaped. The case has been registered at Shantinagar Police Station, and further investigation is ongoing.
