Around 400 trees Uprooted this monsoon

Thane: More than a hundred trees were uprooted in a single day in a nature cyclone before the monsoon. In the three months of the monsoon 397 trees fell in Thane city. As many as 119 trees have become dangerous and 213 tree branches have fallen. Fortunately, no casualties were reported but vehicles and houses were badly damaged. Environmentalist say the concreting of the city has cut off oxygen supply to tree roots and unscrupulous pruning has led to many trees falling. In particular, the tree conservation proposal is being ignored by the tree authority, which is causing great damage to the environment.
