Action Demanded in Student Exploitation Case: Somaiya and Haske Question Police.

MPs raise concerns about crimes against students and demand strict action.

Several educational institutions, including hostels and coaching classes, allegedly forced students to pay ₹50,000 each under pressure. This led to protests by students and parents. Former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya and current MP Naresh Haske met Naupada Police to demand strict action. Somaiya and Haske questioned the police about the FIR and investigation. They highlighted the serious nature of the offenses and demanded immediate action against the guilty. Police were advised to consult senior officials for guidance. The alleged exploitation includes threats and illegal fees, causing major unrest among students. 36 related complaints have been filed. Police have started verifying these cases and promised firm action.Local officials, including the Municipal Commissioner and Joint Commissioner, were also informed. The police assured that student safety will be the top priority going forward.
