Incident Shocks Asole Village in Shahapur.

A tragic incident occurred in Asole village near Kinhavali, where three young sisters from the same family died after suspected poisoning on Monday (21st). The deceased have been identified as Kavya (10), Divya (8), and Gargi (5).

Their mother, Sandhya Bhare, had been living with her daughters in Asole for the past eight months after separating from her husband. On Monday, the girls allegedly consumed poison. They were first taken to a local clinic and then shifted to a hospital in Shahapur. As their condition worsened, they were referred to hospitals in Mumbai.

Despite efforts, Kavya and Gargi died on Thursday (24th), while Divya passed away on Friday (25th).

Police have launched an investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that while the girls were poisoned, neither the mother nor grandmother were harmed. Police have recorded statements and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after forensic tests.

Authorities suspect foul play, and further inquiry is underway.
