Engineers Clash Over Highway Condition.

The Mumbai-Nashik highway is in bad condition, especially near Bhiwandi, due to poor maintenance. During a recent meeting at the district collector’s office, engineers argued about who is responsible for the damage. District Collector Ashok Shingare has now ordered that all work be completed immediately.

Officials from PWD, MSRDC, and other departments blamed each other. Dr. Sanjay Shinde and Dr. Vinay Patil said heavy rains delayed the repair work, while other engineers disagreed. People are angry due to potholes and bad roads.

The collector warned that if repairs aren’t done soon, strict action will be taken. Engineers have been told to complete work on priority. A report must be submitted within 4 days
