Draft Ward Structure Declared for ZP and Panchayat Elections Citizens Can Submit Objections Till July 21.

For the upcoming general elections of the District Council (Zilla Parishad) and five Panchayat Samitis in Thane district, the draft structure of election divisions and voter groups has been officially released. The state government has appointed the Thane District Collector as the authorized officer for this task. Based on the order dated July 14, maps and draft ward structures have been displayed at the Thane Collector’s Office, Zilla Parishad Office, and respective Tehsil and Panchayat Samiti offices in Kalyan, Mumbra, Shahapur, Murbad, and Ambernath. Citizens can submit objections or suggestions on the draft till July 21. These must be submitted to the offices where the draft is displayed. This plan, published by District Collector and District Election Officer Ashok Shingare, will be reviewed as per state orders before finalization.
