Cultural Fest Brings Devotional Joy to Young Participants.

A special Ashadhi Ekadashi event, “Ashadhwari”, was held at Thane’s Balrangbhoomi Parishad. The event featured songs, dances, storytelling, and drama performed by schoolchildren to celebrate the spiritual festival. The program began with devotional singing at 10 a.m., followed by performances showing Warkari traditions and the values of saints like Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram. Students dressed in traditional attire sang abhangas (devotional songs), recited poetry, and acted in short plays highlighting cultural values. The event was supported by the Maharashtra Balnatya Parishad and attended by guests including singer Dr. Kshitij Patwardhan, poet Dr. Shubhangi Shinde, and other dignitaries. Children from various schools took part enthusiastically, turning the venue into a colorful celebration of devotion and culture. The organizers appreciated the young talents and emphasized the importance of keeping such traditions alive.
