Ashadhi Celebrations Fill Ambarnath Shiva Temple with Devotion.
Devotees Chant Vitthal’s Name in Joyful Procession.
On Ashadhi Ekadashi, a large crowd gathered at the ancient Shiva temple in Ambarnath, filling the area with chants of “Hari Vitthal” and “Ram Krishna Hari.” Devotees from Ulhasnagar and nearby areas walked to the Vitthal temple in Camp 5 as part of a grand procession. Many wore traditional Warkari attire, with men, women, and children joining in singing and dancing. This joyful celebration, held every year, has become a tradition. The event included performances of devotional songs and the traditional “Dindi” (group pilgrimage dance). Processions from different parts of the city came together at the Shiva temple. The temple premises echoed with devotion and energy, as spiritual programs continued throughout the day. Devotees felt proud to celebrate Ashadhi Ekadashi with such enthusiasm and unity.
