Shiv Sena Threatens Action Over Dumping at CP Lake.
Ultimatum to Stop Dumping by July 10.
Shiv Sena leaders have strongly opposed the dumping of garbage at CP Lake in the Wagle Estate area. Despite promises from the municipal corporation, thousands of tons of waste continue to be dumped there. Shiv Sena state secretary Ram Repale and former corporator Eknath Borse warned that if dumping is not stopped by July 10, the garbage will be taken and dumped at the municipal office itself. Earlier, the municipal administration had assured that all garbage would be cleared by June 12. But since that deadline passed, local citizens are still facing health risks due to continuous dumping. Shiv Sena leaders have given a final warning and hinted at protest action if no steps are taken.
