Due to a 63-hour mega block at Thane station, ST and TMT have stepped in to help affected railway passengers. Thane Municipal Corporation is providing 50 extra buses on key routes, while the State Transport Corporation is running 50 additional trains from Mumbai to Thane, with more planned based on demand.
