Uddhav Thackeray to visit Kalyan on Jan 13
Shiv Sena (UBT) party chief Uddhav Thackeray will visit Kalyan city for the first time after the Shiv Sena split on Saturday, January 13. The party workers have started their preparations to welcome their leader in a grand way. Thackeray will also visit Ambernath, Badlapur, and other 27 villages. During this visit, Thackeray will interact with the Shiv Sainiks on the issue of the candidate for Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency and the strategy for it.
After the split of Shiv Sena, UBT (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party workers and office bearers in Kalyan-Dombivli were trying hard to get Thackeray to come to their area. However, Thackeray family did not respond to this demand. The party workers were upset as youth leader Aditya Thackeray also turned his back. Due to this displeasure, Dombivli Kalyan Lok Sabha liaison chief Sadanand Tharwal resigned last year. It was withdrawn after Thackeray’s meeting.
At present, there is a lot of talk of displeasure about Dr Shrikant Shinde, who is the current MP of Kalyan Lok Sabha Constituency. UBT has therefore decided to take advantage of this opportunity. In view of this, UBT is planning to name a strong candidate that will give a tough fight to Dr Shinde. Subhash Bhoir and Sadanand Tharwal are some of the names in the forefront for the Kalyan Lok Sabha Constituency candidature. It is also being discussed that the help of MNS MLA Pramod Patil in the rural areas will be sought.
