Which tests are done at Radiance Clinical Diagnostic Centre?
All kinds of blood, urine, and body fluid examinations, along with special tests like vitamin, thyroid levels, kidney and liver functions, cancer markers, and infertility markers, to name a few, are done here. The conduction of tests and preparation of reports are done under my supervision. We also offer medical, preventive and wellness packages.
What are the key features of your lab?
Our lab functions 24 hours a day for all 12 months of the year. It is fully automated and equipped with the latest technology. We can generate timely reports without any human errors. We do the control check thrice a day as per NABL norms to avoid technical malfunctions and errors.
How is your lab unique?
Since this is a NABL-accredited lab owned by an MD pathologist herself, the quality of reporting is rest assured. Besides, fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) and histopathology are our areas of expertise. After completing my postgraduation, I acquired specialised knowledge in these fields from Lilavati Hospital. FNAC test determines the type of tumour and checks for cancer cells. Moreover, we provide home testing without any extra charge from Mulund to Badlapur.
Did you come across any emergency case?
Yes, I recall a case when I received a phone call at 2 am. The patient suffered from chest pain and wanted someone urgently to do the blood test at home. Since our lab functions 24*7, we could send our staff to the patient’s home. Within an hour, we provided the blood test report. The patient was diagnosed to have suffered from a major heart attack. After getting his angioplasty done, three or four days later, the same patient came to our lab and thanked me for saving his life. We could provide emergency service to him at his home during odd hours when no one could.
