60 year old converts his bedroom into a mini forest

Vijaykumar Katti, a 60 year old man in Thane, has found a way to keep himself happy and contribute to the environment, during these testing times. Katti has beautifully converted his bedroom into a mini forest, by growing indoor plants. These plants not only make the room look stunning but also have several benefits.

The indoor plants planted by Katti in his bedroom produce on an average 500 gms of oxygen daily. In the last year and half, he has donated close to 400 plants for redevelopment projects. Apart from reducing the carbon dioxide levels, he recycles plastic and glass bottles and uses the same for potting the plants.
