Murbad: Raids Intensified to Curb Gas Hoarding

In light of rising fuel prices and potential shortages, the Murbad Tehsildar office has initiated measures to ensure a smooth supply of domestic gas and to curb black marketing.

A four-member vigilance squad has been established under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Abhijit Deshmukh. Under his guidance, Supply Inspection Officer Sanyogita Pawar, Supply Inspector Sandeep Thorat, and the other supply department staff visited gas agencies on March 12 and Gajanan Gas Agency on March 13 to inspect the cylinder stocks in their warehouses. On the same day, surprise inspections were carried out at various hotels and restaurants in Murbad to verify whether domestic cylinders are being used for commercial purposes. Tehsildar Abhijit Deshmukh has issued directives to take strict action against those found involved in such malpractices.

Supply Inspection Officer Sanyogita Pawar has appealed to citizens not to believe the false news around the subject.
