In Ulhasnagar, ahead of the upcoming municipal corporation elections, the Omi Kalani group has announced an alliance with the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena. Omi Kalani’s spokesperson, Kamlesh Nikam, stated that this alliance was formed to ensure development in the municipal corporation elections. The alliance claims they are not with BJP and have criticized several BJP members for being accused of crimes.

On the other hand, BJP state president Ravindra Chavan declared BJP’s mayoral candidate in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, sparking discussions about a potential tie in the mayoral vote due to the alliance between Shiv Sena (Shinde group) and the Omi Kalani team. Two Omi Kalani supporters joined BJP two days prior in the presence of Ravindra Chavan, causing instability in the Omi Kalani group.
