10% discount for paying lumpsum annual property tax: Thane Municipal Corporation

Taxpayers in the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) area who pay the entire property tax for the financial year 2020-21 together will be given a 10 percent discount on the tax amount for the second half of the year. Thane mayor Naresh Mhaske and municipal commissioner Dr. Vipin Sharma have appealed to Thanekars to take advantage of this scheme. An e-facility has been made available www.thanecity.gov.in.

If the entire property tax for the year 2020-21 is paid by September 15, a 10 percent discount will be given. If you pay between September 16 and September 30, you will get a 4 percent discount, if you pay between October 1 and October 31, you will get a 3 percent discount and if you pay between November 1 and November 30, you will get a 2 percent discount.
