₹60,000 Travel Allowance with June Salary!

Relief for 5,000 Thane Municipal Staff After MLA’s Meeting.

Around 5,500 employees of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will receive ₹60,000 each as travel allowance along with their June salary. This positive outcome came after MLA Sanjay Kelkar held a meeting with senior civic officials to discuss staff-related issues. During the meeting, several long-standing concerns were resolved. The decision to provide the travel allowance brought joy among the employees. The meeting was held in the TMC committee hall and was attended by Additional Commissioner Prashant Rode, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Dileep Suryavanshi, Deputy Commissioner (Head Office) G.G. Gaikwad, Deputy Commissioner (Health) Umesh Birari, Deputy Commissioner (Security) Sachin Sangle, and other officials. The new changes will take effect from January 2, 2025.
