Repair Delay Extends Water Cut Beyond Scheduled Time.

A 24-hour water cut was announced from May 14 to 15 for urgent repairs by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Water supply was to resume by 12 noon on May 15. However, delays in repair work extended the cut by over 30 hours, leaving residents in distress. Due to damaged pipelines near Bhokarpada and a railway track in Shiravli, supply was severely affected. Residents faced severe shortages, had to buy tankers, and queued at public taps. Delays caused a major water crisis in several parts of Navi Mumbai.
