Thane police arrests a deaf and dumb thief for stealing goods from Vijay Sales

Thane city’s Wagle police have arrested a burglar who stole goods worth Rs. 2,28,000 from Vijay Sales shop located near Tiptop Hotel in Thane. The theft took place on June 30. The burglar broke the glass on the first floor of the shop at night and stole two Apple mobile phones, one Oppo mobile phone and five Samsung mobile phones. A case was registered at Wagle Estate police station. The accused Tushar, 30, a resident of Goa, was arrested on July 11. Upon interrogation, the police found out that Tushar is deaf and dumb. He confessed to the crime, taking help of the interpreters. Four mobile phones worth Rs. 1,22,000 were taken back from him.
