Thane CAs celebrate 72nd CA day in style

On July 1, Thane branch of WIRC (Western India Regional Council) of ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) along with their student wing Thane WICASA (Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association) celebrated the 72nd CA day. Vice President of ICAI CA Nihar Jambusaria was the chief guest. It was hosted by CA Suren Thakur Desai, Chairman of Thane branch, CA Swapnil Kolte, Secretary, CA Rajanish Sharma, Treasurer, CA Yogesh Prasade, Immediate Past Chairman, CA Chetan Chaddwa, committee member, CA Rahul Gharat, WICASA Chairman, and CA Kamlesh Saboo, regional council member. During the event, winners of the elocution competition were felicitated. The first prize was won by Juili Bam (felicitated by CA Lalit Bajaj, WIRC chairman), second prize was won by Ektha (felicitated by CA Murtuza Kanchwalla, WIRC secretary), third prize was won by Injila Pathan (felicitated by CA Priti Savla, Immd WIRC chairman), and the fourth prize was won by Jay (felicitated by CA Hitesh Pomal WIRC Wicasa chairman). The judges for the competition were CA Shekhar Kulkarni, CA Kamlesh Saboo, and CA Suyog Narvekar. The event was sponsored by Yash group of Realty.
