Solar Power Projects Launched in 14 KDMC Schools.

Commissioner Abhinav Goyal Inaugurates the Initiative

KDMC Commissioner Abhinav Goyal inaugurated solar power projects in 14 municipal schools, highlighting that even small solar setups are crucial for sustainable energy. These 50 kW capacity projects were set up with public participation at a cost of over ₹25 lakh. Commissioner Goyal thanked various builders, companies, and donors who supported the initiative. The project was led by Executive Engineer Prashant Bhagwat and his team. Plans are also underway to install solar systems in 16 more schools. A special energy-saving themed t-shirt was also launched during the event.
