The man who significantly changed the realty landscape in Thane, Mr. Ashwin Sheth and his sons Chintan and Maulik share their exciting journey of conceptualizing Thane’s Platinum Belt and one of the biggest malls in Mumbai – Viviana. In our endeavour to empower them, Viviana has established a fully functional resource centre in association with XRCVC with Dr. Sam Taraporevala at its helm, states Maulik. He further says, XRCVC is working closely with Viviana to offer the best of services to our blind patrons by introducing innovative tools like Braille Menus, Tactile Labels in retail outlets, Audio Tactile floor plans, personal shopping. For better commutation in the vicinity of the mall, we floated a scheme to lure auto rickshawallas. ‘Hum Saath Saath (60) Hain’ is a novel initiative, wherein each auto driver queuing up at the mall’s auto stand gets his auto number noted; and each time he picks up a passenger he collects a stamped coupon. On the collection of 60 such coupons in a month, he is eligible to avail free groceries worth Rs. 2,000 from the mall. This helped us to resolve the commutation issues for our customers. Additionally, this year, our group in association with TMC (Thane Municipal Corporation) and TPCB (Thane Pollution Control Board) devised an environment-friendly immersion solution this Ganeshotsav for household Ganapati idols. Recognizing the urgency to preserve the environment while keeping the spirit of the festival intact, we came up with this environmentally friendly way to tackle this issue. We created an immersion pit at our property Sheth Zuri to enable easy dissolving of Plaster of Paris (POP) idols. Sheth Group has developed over 17 million sq feet till date which includes residential and commercial projects in India and Dubai. They have delivered dreams of over 25,000 families.
