Following heightened security after the Pahalgam attack, police arrested Sameer Khan (23) in Mumbai’s Govandi area for selling illegal SIM cards. He had 75 SIM cards, two biometric scanners, and other devices. He allegedly sold SIMs using fake documents for ₹1,500 each, which could be used in crimes or terrorist activities. Shivaji Nagar police, guided by central intelligence, caught him red-handed. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing to uncover the network behind the racket.
