Heavy Rains Ease, Flood Threat Averted in Badlapur.
160 mm Rainfall in 4 Hours, 60 Families Relocated.
Heavy rain from early morning flooded many parts of Badlapur. Streets were submerged, and flood-like conditions appeared as the Ulhas River water level rose. However, rainfall intensity dropped by afternoon, easing the threat. Water in the river began to recede, and flood warnings were lifted. As a precaution, 60 families were safely shifted. Authorities remained alert, closed low-lying roads, and police ensured crowd control. Around 160 mm of rain fell within four hours, but timely action prevented a major crisis.
