Towing Service Resumes After 6 Months.

After a 6-month break, the towing service in Thane is restarting with CCTV cameras and other tech upgrades. Around 27 towing vehicles are ready to act against wrongly parked vehicles. Drivers and towing staff often get into arguments during such actions. To avoid misuse, the Thane Traffic Department has made it mandatory to record operations using body cameras. If any staff misbehaves, strict action will be taken. Live footage will also be available on the Mega Phone app. The public can now report if towing is done unfairly.
