Ambernath: 1.5 kg Weed Seized.

In a major bust near Ambernath railway station, the Ulhasnagar Crime Branch caught a man with 1.5 kg of weed and 25 grams of charas worth ₹1.03 lakh. This is one of 55 drug-related cases filed in the last 5 months in the area. The man, from Bhagat Singh Nagar, was caught during a night raid. Police revealed that Ambernath, Badlapur, and Ulhasnagar have become hotspots for drug trade. Over 19 kg of ganja and 3 kg of charas have been seized recently, with a total value of around ₹19 lakh.
