Thane’s Suraj P.H. Wins National Title

Suraj P.H. from Thane Badminton Academy won the Men’s Doubles 35+ title at the All India Golden Masters Badminton Championship 2025, held in Mangalore, Karnataka on May 24-25. Suraj, who works with the Income Tax Department in Mumbai, defeated Chhattisgarh’s B.L. Tharam and C.H. Gandhi in straight sets (21-13, 21-18) in the finals. He trains regularly at the Thane Badminton Academy under the Syed Modi Training Scheme. Coaches Srikanth Wadh, Mayur Ghatnekar, and others played a key role in his success.
