India Women look to seal the T20I series against West Indies Women

Playing in their own backyard, India Women started the three-match T20I series against West Indies with a clinical win. The hosts beat the tourists by 49 runs after scoring 195 in 20 overs and then restricting them for 146.

While going into the second T20I on Tuesday in Navi Mumbai, India Women look to take an unassailable lead, whereas West Indies would be keen to keep the series alive.

Players to watch out

Jemimah Rodrigues: The right-handed top-order batter of India won the player of the match award for her blistering knock of 73 from just 35 balls in the first T20I against West Indies. Coming in at number three, she took the attack to the opposition with her stroke-filled play.

Titas Sadhu: The young right-arm seamer of India was impressive in the first T20I against West Indies as she scalped three wickets to emerge as the pick of the bowlers. She shared the new ball with Renuka Singh Thakur and was effective inside the powerplay.

Deandra Dottin: The dashing all-rounder from West Indies made useful contributions with bat and ball in the first T20I against India. She muscled 52 runs from 28 balls and also claimed one wicket in her four-over spell.

Qiana Joseph: The hard-hitting left-handed opening batter of West Indies sparkled with a 33-ball 49-run innings in the first T20I against India. She hammered five fours and three sixes in her entertaining knock.
